15 weeks and counting!
That's right. Bennett is 15 weeks old today, or more than 1/4 of a year old. It's amazing to see how much more interactive and expressive he is now. He even laughs a little bit, which is very adorable!
He's even up to sleeping 5 hours at a time, which seems to translate to him being happier in the evening, where previously he wasn't a happy nighttime customer. It makes mom and dad much happier!
This guy is pretty photogenic, isn't he?

Seattle
Bennett has been in Seattle for a full week. He has been to Aunt Amanda's birthday party, dress shopping a few times for his aunt's wedding dress, to Bellevue Square Mall, and to the local Costco.
His biggest feat so far is as a Seahawks fan. He has a perfect 2-0 record since dawning his favorite green and gold outfit. If we can keep the outfit clean, maybe the Seahawks will make the playoffs this year!

Go Seahawks!
Bennett got to watch his first Seahawks game tonight, and so far he has a perfect record. That is more than the refs can say!
After a couple of days of adjustment, Bennett is getting used to Seattle life. He's also been introduced to family and friends in the area, including Uncle Dave. He also got to meet Mary, Helene, Vic and Marv, Lisa, Molly & Gabor, and best of all, the Parker boys. One of whom is almost the same age, August.
Bennett continues to gain weight, as evidenced by the chubby cheeks! The feeding is still very frequent, and his sleeping is still intermittent.
We are headed back to Sutherlin for a week this week. With a little luck, maybe we can make the trip down in less than 9 hours! Something tells me our little hungry man might have other plans.

Home Alone!
Grandmom Linda went back home this week, after 4 weeks of helping with Bennett. Calling "what she did "helping" doesn't really do her contribution justice.
So it's just been the three of us. Bennett had a "male specific" procedure done Thursday, and he wasn't too happy after we got home. The only good news was that he tuckered himself out and slept for 5 hours straight. A new record! He is also doing a better job sleeping in the bedroom too, a huge bonus for mom and dad.
Jen definitely has the toughest job. She takes more of the nighttime feedings, and it adds up. Sometimes a good, hard nap is required to make up for lost sleep. Bennett seems to be ok with that.
